Most Visible Church Ministries
31.76% identified small groups as most visible.
Why this matters
Most local churches promote multiple ministries throughout the year. Some are more visible than others. This data helps us understand which ministries are the “most visible.” There is an obvious correlation between visibility and priority: a higher priority often means greater visibility, and greater visibility often translates into a larger investment of resources. Priority and visibility are not always consistent with Scripture, but they are often reflective of the values of that congregation. Most men in most churches are quite pleased that ministry to men is not the priority and that they can simply work to connect their family to the church. Is this God’s design for a man?
Survey question: Which areas of ministry are receiving the most visibility on Sunday morning, on the church website, and in directed email communication to church members?
Percentages are shown as reported; totals exceed 100%, indicating respondents could identify more than one ministry.
