Training Fathers & Grandfathers
63% had no memory of such training at their church.
Most churches do not train dads
Why does this matter?
When the local church markets a loving, Christ-centered Children's Ministry and a fully staffed Youth Ministry, most dads will simply hand off the spiritual training of their own children to the church. These same fathers will do their best, but men do not know what they do not know. When you combine a fully staffed, fully funded and very visible youth ministry with no training for fathers as the spiritual leader of the home, men will disengage. The pressure that Almighty God intended them to feel and experience has been removed by their own local church.
