Ray is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a Masters of Arts in Biblical Studies and Masters of Arts in Christian Education. He has planted two churches, New Hope Bible Church in Kansas City, MO where he served for 10 years. He currently serves as Lead Pastor of Christ for the Nations Church, a multi-Ethnic church in Nashville, TN. He has also served in many other pastoral capacities, youth, worship and young adults.

Ray and his wife Robyn have been married for over three decades and are the proud parents of ten children, two son-in-laws and three grandsons. The McKelvy’s make their home in Franklin, TN.
