Children’s Children!

It’s the 17th of August, looking for wisdom in the 17th chapter of Proverbs! Verse 6 rings true; “Children’s children are the crown of old men, and the glory of children is their father.”

Many men give their best time and energy as young dads to building a career and providing for their family. Their pace of life can cause them to miss some of the sweet moments of their own children’s youth! Being a grandfather is a little bit like a second chance. Children’s children are the crown of old men as they get an additional opportunity to slow down and learn to love and enjoy God’s reward of a life lived with others in mind.
