Doing Things In Order
It’s August 24, so I am reading Proverbs 24. Verse 27 catches my attention; “Establish your work outside and get your fields ready; then afterward build your house.” Doing things in order really can help. In this case, the young man is exhorted to establish his work and be prepared to make a living wage. Then he can look to build a house and possibly a home with a wife and children. Every man needs to find a work to do before seriously pursuing a woman to love. Doing things in order is critical to being ready and prepared before inviting her to join him.
Wisdom from Proverbs this Monday! What other wisdom can we find in chapter 24?
