It’s June 5 so let’s look at Proverbs 5. Much of this chapter has a focus of avoiding infidelity with strong warnings about the consequences. Here is one from verse 11: “At the end of your life you will groan, when your flesh and body are spent.”
Whether you are 20 or 70 or whatever age, it would be wise to consider the end of your life. Do you want to be one who groans with regrets? Living with the end in mind is critical to executing your calling and avoiding errors that will cause lifelong regret. Although God will forgive and others may forgive, one consequence of bad short term decisions is some end of life groaning.
The wisdom of God’s Word and godly mentors will help us live a life with few regrets. There is additional wisdom in Proverbs 5 so give it a read today!
