Chuck Lawless is Dean and Vice-President of Graduate Studies and Ministry Centers at Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, where he also serves as Professor of Evangelism and Missions. In addition, he is Global Theological Education Consultant for the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. Dr. Lawless was awarded an MDiv and a PhD in Evangelism/Church Growth from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, where he also served as professor and dean of the Billy Graham School of Missions and Evangelism. Prior to that, he was pastor of two Ohio churches. A conference leader and author of several books, including Discipled Warriors, Putting on the Armor, Mentor, and Nobodies for Jesus, Dr. Lawless has a strong interest in discipleship and mentoring.
Jerry Leachman's passion to witness and minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to men has been forged through a lifelong journey that has included sports, military, missions, and civic organizations. Born into a military family in 1950, he grew up on military bases throughout Europe. Coming stateside for college, Jerry played football at the University of Alabama under legendary coach Paul “Bear” Bryant. His career has crisscrossed the US and abroad as a high school teacher and coach, a Young Life area director in the Washington, DC area doing work in Guatemala and Russia, and teaching men and couples groups in the greater DC area. Jerry served as chaplain for the NFL Washington Redskins for 12 years and has spoken and ministered to Marines in the Persian Gulf. He has spoken at men’s conferences all across the US and particularly enjoys discipling men one-on-one. His speaking style with men is bold, direct, and sometimes humorous; he pulls no punches. Jerry has been married to Holly for 43 years and together they enjoy spending time with their 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
