Titus 3:4-5
“But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, He saved us…”
Foolish and disobedient, lusting and hating, filled with malice and envy (v3) – ‘But’ God intervened.
John 3:16 clearly states… “For God so loved the World that He sent…”
He loved. He sent. He saved.
Specifically, He saved me. I could improve myself, but I could not ‘save’ myself.
Saved means ‘‘rescued’ and is from the word ‘esosen’, the primary word being ‘sos’!
SOS is a Morse code distress signal string of three dots, three dashes, three dots. For some, it might mean Save Our Ship and for others it might mean Save Our Soul!
Prayer: Thank You Father that You sent and that You saved. You did for me what I could not do for myself. I bless You and give You thanks in Jesus’ Name. Amen
